About the town
Historically known for the oldest Glagolitic monument - the Vinodol Law from 1288, the rule of the Frankopans and a rich cultural heritage, the town of Novi Vinodolski is located in the southeastern end of the Vinodol Valley.
The former home of the writer Ivan Mažuranić, Novi Vinodolski continues to be an inspiration and favorite destination for many visitors with its tradition.
There is no shortage of rich gastronomic offers and events that celebrate it, so it can be said that the city is the first at the very top in the offer of wine and traditional dishes, as well as somewhat more modern cuisine.
In addition to the clear sea and summer activities, Novi can also boast of untouched nature in the hinterland of the city, as well as numerous hiking and mountain trails.
